In the last six weeks we've had many visitors, and feel very blessed that so many want to be a part of little Harper's life. Well last weekend it was my family's turn to visit! My cousins and their kids came to meet Harper! So they left their winter coats and collard shirts at home, packed their flip flops and shorts, and headed out west. Cristi has always been close to me and someone I've looked up to since I can remember. She was our youngest cousin for years, so I spent my childhood years trying to be just like her! I was so grateful that her and her family were interested in taking time out of their busy lives to slow down a bit with us in our small town!
We spent our weekend playing lots of video games, beach walks, eating lots of food, tasting yummy wine, a scavenger hunt on the beach put on by the local glass blower, and welcoming my big brother Aaron home from Alaska!! (For those who don't know, my brother went up fishing in Alaska on the Columbia--Gus' boat as well--and he got home a week ago Saturday!!) Aaron hadn't met Harper yet, so that was exciting for all of us!
It's always wonderful seeing the Franklin family, but their visits never seem to last as long as I'd like...At least we have some photos to remember our relaxing weekend together...
