But this time of year it gets a little difficult to remember that he was just so small and helpless just one short year ago. Last year he fell asleep on me while opening gifts, and slept through dinner. This year I can imagine him going crazy after all the gifts, and getting him just one short cat nap should be a bit of a chore for us! I can't wait!
We have been busy with play dates lately! Harper's due date buddy Ethan and his mom have been hanging out with us most Wednesday afternoons. It's so much fun to see the boys play together, and take comfort in Brook and the stories and worries we have about our boys are often quite similar!
He's a big 15 month old boy who LOVES being outside!
Just a mischievous little look!
Disregard the serious case of bed-head here...He adores all Christmas decorations! He has a slight obsession with blowing on and off lights and candles. It's pretty cute. (I know, I say that an awful lot!)
One rainy day this week we built Harper his first fort. Well, I tried. Gus mentioned I didn't know how to do it very well, so he took matters into his own hands! Harper was pretty thrilled with it for a few minutes, but had the most fun tearing it down!
He's taking off the top!
On his way inside to check things out! Disclaimer: We had no idea the sweatpants said "buckaroo" on the heiny when we bought them off the internet! So not my style, but he of course wears them well!

He thinks this is kind of fun! Love that radiant smile! I hope he keeps smiling through life. That has been the one thing he's kept consistent since he was three weeks old...I pray it stays that way.
Here's a video of Harper !
And silly Harper spreading a little Christmas cheer!

OMG... those videoes are the cutest thing ever. He has grown so much. Last time we saw him he was just walking. His picture face is so cute. Have a great holiday.
