...Right this minute!
As I sit here, I'm listening to the wonderful sounds of my baby boy eating his dinner! I'm hearing, "nomm nomm nom", "mmmmmmm mmmmm", "dadadada", "mmmm nom" and every time he makes eye contact with me I get a very thankful smile with a few chirps of excitement, and of course a squeeze of his eyelids! And there is no where else I'd rather be. That's a lovely feeling...
He gladly lets me put his bib on as he sees his dinner on his tray. Then the banana is the first to go, followed by the tofu. After that carrots take their rank, then cauliflower, then finally the broccoli. He has turned into such a good eater, and he seems gracious for every morsel. I love it. I love him. And I know in another six months or a year when he's yelling at me for putting such horrific vegetables on his plate, I'll look back on this post and remember my precious baby. I will then proceed to show that toddler that he did love his veggies one day, oh so long ago!
I know I'm late on Harper's 11 month post, but this took precedence this evening!
