Easter, 7 Months, and Penises....

I'm going to keep it short and sweet this week mostly because I'm typing one handed thanks to Harper's morning nap in my arms ::I just wanna eat him all up!!::  and also because pictures are more exciting than my crazy ramblings.....

Easter last weekend was rather casual as we're still not going to church (I'm beginning to wonder why we're STILL not going...??) so we had brunch at our house with my parents, and our good friend Heidi.  Aaron and Jack are in Alaska for another week or so.  Great grandparents Hal and Helen were scheduled to attend, but something else came up, Ahna is still in China, and Joanne and Kirdy (Gma Molan and Auntie) were off in central Oregon for the weekend....  But I had to dress Harper up anyway, right??  At least for a serious photo shoot!  He wore his Christmas outfit...Yep.  I'm THAT mother.  He wore it for all of ten minutes Christmas day before he needed a wardrobe change due to a diaper malfunction....get my drift???!  So I figured, why not?  We're not going to Church, he was barely seen in them that day (most of his pictures were in his sweet Santa's Elf jammies!)  He's too handsome for words!  He got FOUR easter baskets this year....That darn bunny.  He's into spoiling the first time Easter go'ers I guess...!  Bubbles were a hit!

The day after Easter, my sweet little man turned seven months.  Where has the time gone?  He gets cuter with each passing day as he learns how to communicate and interact with the world.  He's got such a cool personality, and always happy.

We took him to get photos for his passport at Walgreens earlier in the week as well.  He cheesed it up big time!  We're going to have the cutest little passport in a matter of weeks.  With one click the photo girl was surprised he got it on the first try!  She said he's the easiest baby she's every taken a picture of!  Of course I was proud, and thrilled that he flashed his two baby teeth and squinted his eyes!  Then, we had to wait ten minutes for processing.  So we roamed the aisles bored, and also a little thrilled at the "as seen on tv" section!  ::Am I the only one who had no idea this existed??!::  Harper was wide-eyed and talking, smiling, and shouting at all the bright colored things through each aisle.  He's never really been in a store like this and I think it was a hit!!

Also, this morning Harper came across his penis.  I was sad.  Dad was proud.  He kind of flicked it with his fingers, and then started chuckling.  It was pretty cute, but a little too advanced for momma.  So I strapped his diaper on and gave him a squeeze, hoping he'd soon forget about his new little "toy".....for a couple of years at least!

Here's photo mayhem!......And something to look forward to...The grandmas and Kirdy made it to swim class yesterday, so I've got tons of photos to come, and maybe even some updated videos!
