Man-Date 2.0

Yesterday, late afternoon, Harper, Gus, and I had Harper's second "man-date" (title thanks to Daddy) with Due-date buddy, Ethan!  Their last play-date was quite different from this one... Harper was about 4-5 pounds behind Ethan, all they did was sit in our arms and stare at each other (okay, they held hands too!), and then Harper fell asleep in mommy's arms.  This time they played with each other, stared at each other, grabbed for each other, smiled, held hands, played the bongos together, simultaneously nommed on their twin giraffes (Sophie, BEST teether EVER!... Agreed by both Ethan and Harper), and practiced sitting up together!  Oh yeah, Harper's got at least a pound on little Ethan now too!  Needless to say, it was pretty cute to watch.  And super cool that Ethan's mom and dad both got to come, so Gus and I both got some adult interaction!  We had so much fun, and for the first play date, I think Harper did too!  Can't wait to do it again!  Hopefully it won't be another three months from now!
"I knew the mom's would bust out the cameras..geez"
Curiously grabbing at each other....
A couple of handsome 6 month olds!
More baby-wrestling!
Time for band practice...We joked that in 14-16 years the boys would be out in the garage with their band, asking us how their jam session sounds!
As you can see, Harper was pretty excited to have Ethan over!
The boys helping hold each other up!  This standing is big business!  Hard work!
And finally, the owner of Trident Seafoods (Gus' employer) sent Harper a onsie and matching bib along with a handwritten card congratulating us, and letting us know he was happy we were a part of the company!  It was a very thoughtful card.  Meant especially a lot to Gus after meeting him and spending time with him in Alaska before coming home.  Gus learned that Joe's kids go to college at Azuza Pacific, Biola's rival down in Southern California!  They seemed to hit it off right away!
