Baby Molan!: My First Mother's Day

Last year for Mother's Day, Gus was so very thoughtful and bought me a locket with Harper's name on it! It was so special because it was quite the surprise and we were the only two who knew his name, and I could keep it to myself, close to my heart! This year, in addition to my fabulous garden from my boys I received another necklace! A very different necklace this time, but possibly more useful, I received a teething necklace! I can't wait to try it out on Harper and keep my little man busy next time we are out and about!

We spent the day with my family, meeting up after church, and my brother treated us to brunch. It was a sweet surprise, and Harper was a perfect little diner! The restaurant came fully equipped with three ceiling fans for him to stare at! They are still one of his favorite things! After brunch, we gathered some things and all met at my parents to make dinner and relax. Mom, Harper and I went shopping just for fun. I got a cute pair of sandals, while my mom and Harper both got sun hats! It was a great day, and we couldn't have asked for better weather!

Gus woke up with Harper and let me sleep in an extra half hour while they had their coffee and played. It was fabulous! Gus is a great father, and wonderful husband (we already knew this!) and throughout the day he made sure I had moments to myself, and definitely did the majority of the workload! I'm a lucky girl to have these two men in my life!

On a sad note, today we put a few of Harper's baby items up for sale on ebay. I was sad to see them go! We are selling his infant car seat with two adapters, a sling wrap, a Baby Bjorn, and a couple other things...He's growing up so big!!

Harper's upper left tooth has erupted and for the last couple days he has enjoyed grinding his little teeth together! It is a heinous sound. Think fingernails on a chalkboard times ten!
